My name is Alina, I am 28, curently living in Germany. Before 2000 I lived in Moldova and then moved to Germany where I´ve been living and studying since. I have a Bachelor degree in Chinese Studies and currently I am in a traineeship-program.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing, because I want to try things out. You can only go so far travelling with a written guide, but you will never discover a country or a town as people who live there and love doing so.
I´ve been a volunteer for YMCA for a couple of years and was mostly travelling and watching over 80 kids with other supervisors. It is sad to see, how closeminded many of them are, even though the possibilities to discover the world from Germany are plenty. I want to gather as many experiences on Couchsurfing as possible, so I can share them and open up peoples head even a little bit.

兴趣

My interests range from illustrating to teaching illustrating to kids, reading, Swing dancing and cooking. I´ve spent one year in China and have discovered my passion for trying new foods and spices since then. If you can cook a Gong Bao Chicken Nanjing style, I´m all yours ;)
You can also count me in for long walks, hikes and art museums, though I have to say, that I am rather into to classics.
I love my books, my videogames, my comics and my Transformers figurines. If you are interested in this wonderful world of geekyness and nerdyness, I will tell you more, if not, I will still tell you.

音乐、电影和书籍

My music taste ranges from Gothic to Disney, it always depends on my current mood. But if I have to name a band, it would be ASP, a German gothic band. Right now I am all into Queen again, I cannot go past a bicycle without singing ot at least humming the song in my head.
It is the same with books. I pretty much love all the Discworld novels written by Sir Terry Pratchett, Lovecraftian novels as well as "Operation Z". But depending on the mood I will also get my hand on fairytails and medieval crime novels.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In three weeks I have travelled through the Yunnan province with a dear friend. It was an amazing experience from watching over water filled rice fields, cycling along the Mekong river, hiking the Tiger Leaping Gourge and tandem-riing through ShangriLa. The greatest thing would have been to be able to see the Milky Way really close, that I actually had the feeling to be able to touch it.

I am friendly, curious, cheeky and if sometimes moody, just give me a coffee and everything will be fine. When traveling I am eager to see and try as much as possible. I can share my curiosity, my love for life and my stories. Do you want to know why I got a police car with lights stopping in front of me, officer telling me to get in in China? Let´s meet for a drink or a walk and I will be glad to tell you ;)
