Started my travels right after finishing school. My best friend and I travelled in Australia and had the most amazing time. We bought ourself a car so we were indepentent and were able to decide every morning where to go next. We did some festival setups which gave us the chance to get to know a whole bunch of the most amazing and coolest Australians. So we spent the rest of our time in Australia catching up with them and falling more and more in love with the country.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We had the chance to live with quite a few people or whole families together all over Australia. They offered us their food, their couches and beds and tried so hard to make it as comfortable as possible for us. Thats when I realised that I want to do the same for other travellers. When you travel you are broke most of the time, you mostly don't know a lot about the place you are at the moment but you also wish to experience the real character of the place and the way how people live it. So the only way to do it is to live with a local. It is just one of the greatet feelings for me to feel welcome at a place which isn't your home and when I have the space I am going to try to give that feeling to others. Life is a taking and giving in an equal way and you have to understand that so you can respect and appreciate what people give you. Although I'm still travelling I'm looking foward to be a host and to get to know people all over the world, to show them my home and to give something back.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On our first night that we slept in our car we parked on a parking lot a little bit north of Brisbane. It was very close to the beach but not touristic at all. We could listen to the ocean in the night and although we didn't had a matress (Its a station wagon) we slept really good. At like 5:30 I woke up and looked outside and I could see the sun rising. So I opened the trunk which was facing the sea and we both layed in the car, watching the most amazing sunrise and appreciated life very much. It never felt so good to wake up so early in the morning.
