ABOUT ME

I'm easy going and get along with anyone. I always say yes to an adventure. I love traveling because it requires me to challenge the perceived norm. Every time I return from a trip my way of thinking is different. Traveling requires you to be open to challenges and through those challenges comes growth.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm currently on couchsurfing to explore Australia and New Zealand. I love meeting locals and building relationships. Once my adventure is over I will gladly open my couch to everyone I met along the way.

兴趣

I enjoy running, reading, and hanging out at coffee shops. Photography is a new passion of mine, I love to capture people and memories. One of my favorite things to do is listen to other people's stories. I learn so much by listening to what other people have experienced.

I'd consider myself a big foodie. I am always open to trying new things. My past job I traveled 95% of the time, so I never had time to cook. Once I settle down I'd like to be able to make some pretty good meals.

I've been dipping my toes into the blogger world. I think it's a great way to document experiences, and reflect. With my current sabbatical coming up, I'm hoping it gives me more motivation to write often.

I've discovered that nature provides some great introspection for me. Mountains really speak to my soul. Hiking might be one of my favorite things to do. Living in the Midwest it's virtually flat everywhere. So I take advantage of the mountains whenever I can.

I've had so many amazing experiences, it's hard to pick just one. I've been so lucky to find ways to keep exploring, whether that be through work or fun. Life is a great, unpredictable adventure.
