To meet people interested in rehabilitation and living with disabilty. Also people who like sailing and slow food.
I have travelled the world extensively with my husband and children, living in various parts of Africa before coming to Australia. We also indulged in an epic voyage in a 50ft yacht from South Africa to Malaysia stopping at all the Indian Ocean Islands when our children were little. Now we are off on another slightly smaller adventure to Europe and have decided to enlist the help of modern technology to meet like-minded free spirits along the way.
While I may be a scientist of sorts, my husband is an artist, architect and sometime anarchist.
The intuitive mind is a precious gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that worships the servant and has forgotten the gift.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Have hosted several travellers while my daughter was a couch-surfing hostess living in our house. Enjoyed the process and am interested in meeting people through the community.
Lovely experiences with surfers brought in by our daughter, particularly those who seduced our palates with long French lunches and plenty of butter!
