To live every moment as present as possible and to share the joy of Life with all around me!
I Love Life! Everyday, it is more incredible than the last (which doesn't mean everyday is bright sunshine, but I have learned how to truly learn from each experience and to appreciate that beauty of learning..)! If I could do anything in this world, I would spend all of my time living in community with people around the world, learning and feeling their perspective on Life, participating in their everyday struggles and joys and just connecting on a deepening level to the world around me (I feel CS is a great way to do this!).
I try to live life to the fullest everyday and to live through the Joy that Life is. I try to share this with those around me. I deeply believe in the power of hearing others' life experiences and in opening your heart to change because this will bring you closer to your True self and to understanding those around you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have just joined the beautiful CS community and cannot wait to have my first surfing experience. This is what the world needs more of- embracing our sisters and brothers of the world without fear, but with true hospitality and a passion to share life experiences!
I'm just beginning and am excited to have my first experience in Israel!
I looove Dancing and finding drum circles wherever I go so I can just let loose and meet wonderful people! I am on a search for my true self, which really means doing whatever my heart leads me to. The fresh air and nature sustain my life and lift me up each morning and I love taking time to myself to reflect on life and to write.
Music, Movies, and Books
Books: The Power of Now, The Endless Light, Monique and the Mango Rains, Kite Runner...so many more. Any books that make you think deeply about Life.
I'm horrible with learning artists or song titles, but I love foreign music, especially African, Indian, Colombian-Pacifico and much more. I also love folksy type music, raggae-hip hop, Girl Talk, MaMuse...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Wow..this is a very hard question to answer and something I'm going to actually think about now. But for now I will say, when I went on this incredible hike in the mountains of Uganda and got to wade in a waterfall for the first time. There was also a rainbow across the bottom of the waterfall and it seriously looked like "Me lucky charms at the end of the rainbow!!"
Teach, Learn, Share
I can speak Kiswahili (an East African language)
I could teach you some African dance...
I'm learning some body/energy healing techniques
I like to think that I'm figuring out how to get the most out of Life each day.
