I'm a bookworm, a beer snob, a rock climber, a mountain biker, and really just an all around outdoors enthusiast, as they say :) I studied abroad in fall 2014 at Oxford University, and before and after term I did A LOT of travelling. It was great, but my feet have been itchy ever since I got back, and as a result I spend most of my spare time planning theoretical trips to places like South America, Southeast Asia, and Eastern Europe...yeah, I got it bad. I'm always ready for my next adventure and I'm looking forward to meeting up with anyone and everyone, especially if you're down to climb some rocks with me :)

Everything outdoors related; travelling; reading (especially authors like Chimamanda Adichie, Kazuo Ishiguro, and John Irving); watching excellent movies; drinking good beer (anything by Delirium, Dogfish Head, or Monday Night Brewing will do); kicking back and watching shows like Doctor Who, Archer, and Parks and Rec; and a whole lot of other things that I'll save for when we meet in person.

I've recently become obsessed with Langhorne Slim (go listen to Land of Dreams on Spotify if you haven't heard it!), I love The Arcade Fire, Brand New, Ben Howard, and lots of others. Find me on Spotify if you are so inclined, there's too many to list!

My fav movies change all the time, but right now I'd have to say Safety Not Guaranteed. I love pretty much every Marvel movie. But I also love those snobby underground Indie flicks and foreign films. We'll talk more about all that when/if we meet, because I could go on.

Books: I'm an avid bookworm (hence my B.A. in English Literature). Here are a few of my favs: The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon; House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski; Never Let me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro; The World According to Garp by John Irving; Purple Hibiscus by Chimamanda Adichie; and Brooklyn, by Colm Toibin.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I completed my first lead climb at Ceuse in France, one of the top sport climbing destinations in the world (and one of the hardest). There was a lot of talk about me getting a tattoo to commemorate it, it was that big of a deal. I spent a total of a week there, climbing with people from all over Europe - it was incredible.
