About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Exploring the world and pushing my limits!
ABOUT ME
I'm a 4th year student in Environmental Engineering at UBC in Vancouver. I enjoy travelling whenever I can. I'm a pretty easy going person to stay with and I enjoy meeting new people. I love spending time outdoors skiing, hiking, canoeing, or camping. I enjoy quiet nooks for reading, and discovering little unknown places in towns or cities. I love food (cooking it and eating it!)
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in being a good person, being kind and fair to others and all that jazz. I am also passionate about sustainability.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Last spring my roommate and I hosted a few couch surfers and enjoyed the experience, I'm looking forward to hosting more in the future and to being hosted hopefully in the future!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My roommate and I hosted a few couch surfers in the spring, so I thought I would try the opposite end of the spectrum while travelling! We really enjoyed having our two couch surfers, though we were really busy and couldn't spend as much time as we would have liked with them (school!)
Interests
I enjoy being outdoors and exploring! I like camping, hiking, and canoeing as well as travelling when I can afford it. I'm a bit of a science geek, and my passion is sustainability

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy a wide variety of music from jazz to folk and everything in between. My favourite books may forever be the Harry Potter series.. judge me as you will. But other reads which I've really enjoyed include: A Short History of Progress, The Kite Runner, Lord of the Rings, and many more.
Don't get me started on movies, I have seen and enjoyed far too many.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I feel like there are many but two stick out right now. When I was in Belize, I went on a cave tour where you had to swim into the cave and were guided for about 45 minutes to an area that was extremely important more Mayan ceremonies and sacrifices. It was terrifying, exciting, and full of history!
My other wonderful event was hiking the West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island in BC. It took 6 days and it was beautiful the whole time, exhausting but well worth it!
