CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to start a giant Zacusca factory...I'll be rich, you'll see. Hehe, actually I really just want to live in Romania for a while to become fluent, and escape my country's current dictatorship :P

ABOUT ME

My name is Allison, and I'm a girl at the tender age of 19--almost. For three years I had tried and tried to get to Romania, and finally did make it in '07. The people are hospitable, the language is spicy, and I found a piece of myself there. I consider it my second home :)

As far as language is concerned...If there were a category of proficiency between beginner and intermediate, that would be me :)

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to constantly learn, and appreciate. Different cultures are beautiful.

Whether it's Israel/Lebanon, White/Black, Skinny/Fat, Intelligent/Ignorant, Muslim/Christian... people are at constant war with one another. When we overcome the simple differences, that is when we can truly rise above.

No, I'm afraid not...Ignorance is ignorance. The problem with so many people is their lack of knowledge. Traveling broadens your horizons...helps you appreciate what you have back home, and appreciate the new experiences you are taking in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to Romania and teaching little kids English was simply amazing. Just by riding the metro and listening to people, I learned so much. Oh and, having a gypsy throw wood at me, was a pretty good time :P
