About Me

Woah, haven't used CS for ages. I am looking to do an exchange to Brown University in Fall 2015 and planning to roam the US a bit, when schedule and wallet allows it.
Also, it turns out, I'll be homeless in July and August, so I'll try spend my rent money going somewhere sunny!

I love the sweet core of carrots (I am eating a carrot right now, and therefore just re-realized how much I love it, and how essential little things can be), i love interesting faces, i like getting lost (it's luxury), i like slow books and fast men; strange things, beautiful things, ugly things. I like anything I don't understand, I like freezing winters and boiling hot summers, I like words that no one uses and clever wordplay, I like to always be moving, i love to order the strangest thing on the menu, i like the greys, the inbetweens and undefinable. Anything between the lines. I can't help my own chaos, I am open-minded, I am boring, I am obnoxious, I am caring, I am tiny, I am gonna take your picture, I am protective, I am sarcastic, I am ... already thinking of something else again..

"To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget.“

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been some kind of CouchSurfing minimalist. The part I enjoy most is the showing of places. Hoping I can give my surfers a taste of how living feels around here.
I want to take your portrait!

I've had a few interesting people staying over .. I love everything different. This is a wonderful place to meet people you'd never cross roads with otherwise.

Music, Movies, and Books

Last movie I saw in the cinema: Jauja, a Danish-Argentinian movie by Lisandro Alonso (check it out:
The guitar solo in the trailer is gorgeous too.

I read a looot. I like travelling to read too. Nothing like sitting somewhere new, watching life go by, reading from a different point of view so to say. I'm just about to finish Ulysseus. It's only been like 3 months. Jesus. What a ride.

Everybody loves music, of of curse. I like handmade things. And strange fusions of genre. I never know what my favorite is.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There was a moment, where I decided that anything could surprise me positively, and it's done wonders for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to take your photograph, if you'll let me. And I'll let you take mine. I'm using vintage mediumformat. You'll love it.

I am maybe delusional (oh well) but I make excellent pancakes.

Let's talk philosophy, if you like. I'm all up in Western existentialism and Philosophy of Mind.

Oh, and I wanna learn more about wine. And I like simple, fresh foods. I love going to restaurants. Doesn't need to be fancy.

And French, I have to something about my French. I've been trying to be fluent at this for SO long.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
