Hello!
My name is Allison. I recently quit my job to start traveling and blogging. I am not new to couch surfing, but took some time off since I had my child. I am 30 years old. I have a husband, Sam and daughter Mabel (almost 4 years old). We are looking to go to Europe in September and October and would like to cut down our costs by staying with locals. We can clean, cook and teach English. I am certificated to teach English as Foreign Language. My family and I are well traveled and don't usually need much. We love walking around cities and seeing the sites. We enjoy eating and drinking with friendly conversation. We'd love an opportunity to meet you and enjoy your home.
My husband, Sam, is a recording engineer. He records bands and artists in the Chicago area.
Mabel, our daughter, is an experienced traveler. She doesn't complain much and is super friendly. She loves animals and playing with her barbies.
We've been to Europe a few times and love it. We keep coming back for more!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are couchsurfing because we want to meet locals and save money on costs during our travels. We will be traveling around Europe for 4 weeks. We enjoy meeting people while on the road and making friends around the globe. I want my daughter growing up knowing it's okay to travel and meet new people from around the world.

Interests

I've been traveling consistently since 2008 and enjoying seeing new things and meeting new people. In cities, I like eating, drinking and walking around to the sites. If I have time, I enjoy running/jogging to see other areas I wouldn't normally go if walking around. We are pretty simple people.
I like talking about spirituality, aliens and vampire dramas.
My husband is a drummer and loves talking about anything music.
