ABOUT ME

I'm at third year at UCSB, double majoring in Global Studies and English. I'm 20 and therefore don't have much to say about myself, other than that I hope to do great things for others. Eventually, I'd like to do significant work overseas for NGOs, and write the great American novel. But for now, I love to hang out with my friends, meet new people, read, drink unhealthy amounts of coffee, write, and general shenanigans and tom foolery.

I'm pretty knowledgeable in most aspects of American culture: I can teach you how to throw a mean fastball, how to deal with a bad sunburn from the beach, how to find that perfect Mexican place, the subtle brilliance of the early years of Saturday Night Live, how to concoct the perfect mixtape. Any random or useless trivia question? I'm your girl.

I can spend all night talking about religion and politics, the things that make people tick. I can't wait to learn more languages (I want to get better at Arabic, specifically), to experience other cultures, to hear different life stories.
