About Me

If you can, you must!

I seem to alternate between being a total spaz and being this zombie-like creature struggling to stay awake after suffering through a tremendous amount of physics homework. My life so far has been pretty sheltered and lacking in adventure, but I intend to change that :)

Random fact: My guilty pleasure is laundry days, because I go to the store next door to my laundromat and get a bloody-eyeball sundae. Delish!

I NEVER HAVE AN ANSWER FOR THIS. I guess I live because I can. And if you can, you must.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In progress!

EARTHQUAKES, drinking tea, exploring, giving things cool names, subatomic particles, stumbling upon cute coffee shops, pretty rocks, cool rock deformation, swimming with sharks, puppies, animals in general, being awesome, buying ugly picture frames and making them pretty, a multitude of things that would take a ridiculously long time to type out...

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: American Beauty, Quills, The Pianist, The Darjeeling Limited, No Country for Old Men, The Silence of the Lambs

Music: Spoon, Mumford and Sons, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Local Natives, Kanye, The XX, Mahler, Brahms, The Beatles, Ratatat, Powerturk Radio

Books (well, authors actually): Sylvia Plath, T.S Eliot, Brian Greene, Carl Sagan, Stephen Hawking, Leo Tolstoy. Also, I find the Marquis de Sade fascinating, although creepy as hell.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swett Creek, in Utah's Henry Mountains. I went on a field trip for the graduate geology class that I somehow got into and I haven't been the same since. So beautiful.

Teach, Learn, Share

When baking chocolate chip cookies, replace white sugar with brown sugar. Then replace approximately 20% of the brown sugar with honey. Go slightly heavy on the flour, and you will be guaranteed a mouthgasm for sure.
