ABOUT ME

They would probably have a lot of stories for you, they might even call me crazy, but we're all crazy in our own special way. My best friends are my sisters who know every little detail of my life. They would tell you I'm easy going, free spirited and a little bit of a gypsy. My non-blood friends might say extremely honest, maybe to a fault in their case, because I will be the first one to call them out in a game of dodgeball even if we're in the same team (literally). I know they would say I'm an optimist and a realist. I live a very low-stress lifestyle, mostly because I choose to. I don't sweat much and it takes a lot to offend me. They would likely blow my cover and tell you that I am not as funny as I think I am.... I'm usually the only one in the room laughing.

She's crafty! I am a hair stylist and a listener. I work full time at a high end salon in downtown PIttsburgh. I know some might choose to leave their work out in this section but it is a huge part if my life. I love fashion. I love my friends. I really do have the most rad friends ever, seriously. They are my inspiration. I love being outdoors, I bike to work. Of course I love football (and tailgating). I love music. I am learning to play the guitar, I pick it up mostly every day. Also, lately I have been trying to revolve my social calendar around music/shows rather than sitting on a barstool shooting tequila. I recently moved to my new place at the beginning of the year and spend every chance I get decorating. Those are just a few things that inspire me everyday to love what I do and to do what I love.

I love the artistic freedom of being a hairstylist and knowing that I have the ability to make someone's day a little brighter, and then some. And if I can help my friends along the way, then blog (ohmane.blogspot.com) about it, it's been a good day.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Short and sweet... 1st: Doing hair and makeup for the 2nd annual Pittsburgh help-portrait which is a service to provide portraits to people who maybe have never had a portrait taken in their entire life. 2nd: Walking onto set of my first huge photoshoot in Nashville (my 2nd favorite place). 3rd: Meeting such incredibly talented and genuine people through #1 and #2 , who will be lifelong friends. And the cherry on top has been seeing my latest work in stores or online for the first time.
