Hello! I'm a 24 year old female. I grew up in a small farm town until I moved to a slightly larger city (Evansville, Indiana) to attend college when I was 18. I graduated college with honors and a true love of education and learning. Travelling has always been a dream of mine and now, as I am getting older, I realize that I need to finally fulfill my hopes of travelling the world. I am also happily married to my husband, Joe. He, too, shares a passion for adventure and seeing new places and meeting all sorts of people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Although I am enthralled by the chance of finally being able to travel with my husband, we, as most people, are on a budget. Neither of us live a life full of fancy things and we are more comfortable in a home-like environment, versus a suite in a fancy hotel. I am looking for all the help I can get to make this dream a reality for us!

Interests

Even though I'm a woman, I have a passion for video games and movies. I also am a huge animal lover and enjoy any type of excuse to spend time with animals! I LOVE to swim and hike. I also love anything that involves a lot of adrenaline! I'm willing to try (mostly) anything. I'm also a big-time reader and I usually read everyday.

Favorite Books: the entire Harry Potter series, Hunger Games series, Pride & Prejudice, Jane Eyre, and so many more!
Favorite Movies: The Breakfast Club, Deadpool and any Superhero movie, any Disney film (I'm still a kid at heart), Les Miserables, Pride & Prejudice, Monty Python & the Holy Grail, and so many more!
Favorite Music: Basically everything, aside from country music. I can't stand it! But I love everything from heavy metal, to classical, to Disney sing-a-longs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cliff-dove while on vacation in Jamaica. I would do it every day if I had to option! Like I previously said, I'm a huge adrenaline junkie.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories of growing up with close-knit friends and the adventures we went on. The story of my husband and I, although it might be a bit cheesy! But mostly, I will be able to share whatever I can offer them.
