I have just taken up a position in the south of Kyoto as an assistant language teacher. I am currently searching for a home in the city.

I am from Sydney. And have spent the last two months travelling Japan. I am learning Japanese, so please teach me whatever you can. I am looking to make friends. The few experiences I have had couchsurfing I have adored. So I am keen to make more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing as a great way to meet people that live in locally, rather than other tourist. I want to improve my language skills, and it seems hostels are mostly frequented by English speakers. I would also appreciate the local insights of things to see and do. As well as hear stories about life, and cultural traditions.
