About Me

ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm a theatre student at the University of Southern California, currently spending my 3rd-to-last semester of college in London! I have always LOVED traveling, but unfortunately haven't gotten the chance to do it much for financial reasons. So now that I'm here in Europe, my plan is to see amazing things, meet amazing people, and (cliche as it sounds) build some amazing memories to bring back to California with me!

Interests

Besides my life-long love of theatre and performance, I just love meeting new people and hearing stories. I could listen (and have listened) to people telling me about themselves for hours, and never get bored! I have a firm belief that people are, at heart, good, and I will stick by this.

For a list of other interests: history, camping, hiking, crafting, writing, photography, animals, bargain-hunting, baking, cooking, vintage books/clothes/knick-knacks, and having an open mind to try new things!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The very first time I left the country was the summer I turned 18, and it was for a choir trip to an international music festival in Greece. There was a moment where the group of 20+ students was walking back from dinner along the shore of the tiny, BEAUTIFUL island of Syros, and we all just decided to wade into the warm surf. And then we began to sing...it was the closest thing to a miracle I've ever experienced. It felt like we were floating in space, under a completely clear sky in warm water that gently lapped at our clothing, and singing music that we knew and loved with people that we knew and loved.

Here in London, the biggest moment so far that has taken my breath away was walking into the Cast Courts at the Victoria & Albert museum. Even though I KNEW that the incredible architecture and artifacts in the room were just plaster casts of real things off in their own corners of the world, I found myself teared up and overwhelmed by the sheer majesty of some things humans have created.
