I did 10 years in the corporate world and left it behind in 2014. I'm now a band manager, booking agent, and publicist for musicians. I get to use my business skills in a field I'm passionate about.
I'm an easy-going person who can get along with anyone. I may be quiet at first but can be quite entertaining once you get to know me. I'm reliable, a good listener, and a good partner for almost any adventure you throw my way. I love to travel and explore.
I have one tattoo, scribed:
With passion to live, for passion to die.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While I no longer have a place to host surfers, I'd like to travel more than I have these past few years. And I'd like to meet other cool people.
In the past I've enjoyed two separate overnight couch surfs in the Northampton MA area. I've also hung out with a few couchsurfers in NYC for an afternoon and evening of exploration and socialization. I've hosted surfers twice in my previous apartment. I'm happy to help others, which at the present time would be showing them around Connecticut. Especially the good hiking and music spots.
I love the energy of live music. I love seeing all the wonderful natural beauty of this planet and experiencing the diversity of cultures. I love nature. Walking in the woods and mountains is incredibly grounding for me. I am a vegetarian and mostly vegan, out of respect for the environment, my body, and animals.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't have a favorite type of music. I'll see a bluegrass and a metal concert in the same weekend.
I have a hard time staying engaged with most novels. I prefer non-fiction books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's hard to pick just one, so here are three.
One...hiking in Iceland for 5 days in the winter. The landscape is out of this world. Two...meeting each of the band members of Jane's Addictions after a show and getting their autographs and a drum stick. Three....a happenstance opportunity to be in the presence of the Dalai Lama. He exudes tranquility.
