Hello!
I am a woman who is happiest when creating artwork, writing, talking to people, cooking, dancing, being outdoors, watching birds in the garden - among other things.
I wanted to learn to speak other languages since i was very little. The ability to communicate with people of cultures different to mine has always been an absolute priority I never even thought about, it was just there. With this came a great desire to travel and to experience life in other countries so I began to do this as soon as i was old enough. I also love studying the literature and cinema of other countries, and the food, and music ...
My work in the food and wine world allowed me to meet and work abroad.
I am very motivated by issues relating to food sustainability and healthy eating and the environment. I currently live in a small house in the Loire Valley in France. We live without connection to electricity, just a couple of solar panels and and wood-burner. We have water connection outside. We grow all our own veg and some fruit.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I am making a trip to Mexico - a place i spent a little time there nearly 20 years ago. I felt it calling me back! and i have some time without work, so I decided to go for it!
In previous trips overseas i have often stayed with hosts - either through language exchange, work or friends and family. The beauty and richness of visiting a country is, in my experience, always found most profoundly in the hearts of the people we meet. I would wish to have the chance to meet those who feel the same and enjoy the cultural exchange!

I teach English to two young students in France. i enjoy this very much. Language learning is close to my heart so I love to share this with others. As many languages as I can do it with!

I love to cook - especially with whatever is available / leftovers. I'd love to learn some Mexican cooking.

I have a fair knowledge of wine tasting and wine making - this is something i enjoy sharing as many people seem very keen to learn and join in.

I play the guitar a bit. Sitting and playing while chatting or singing with others is something I love to do.
