Overview
About Me
I have a wonderful husband, Jeremy, and a spirited little boy, Theodore. I have a BA from Pepperdine University and currently work for special program at a free clinic. I am so blessed to have the life that I do, and I love to share my blessings and joy with others. I am very friendly and curious. One of the most impactful books I have ever read, How to Win Friends and Influence People, by Dale Carnegie, highlights some of the most important aspects of human interaction and its wisdom has become a kind of philosophy for the way I live my life. We have so much to learn from one another, and opportunities like CouchSurfing make the world so much more connected and understanding.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have such a passion for meeting people and learning from them and their culture. Couchsurfing is an amazing opportunity to meet people all around the world and grow in our understanding of others and create a worldwide community
Interests
I have a one and a half-year-old son, and any parent knows that that is a full-time job in and of itself! We have a wonderful time exploring parks, museums and libraries and going on local road trips and adventures to encourage an early love of nature. When I have free time, I love to explore the vast world of cooking. I do my best to stay active by swimming and biking. My professional interest in healthcare spills over into my personal life, and I strive to learn everything I can about public health, specifically regarding disadvantage communities and access, engagement and wellness within those communities. I hope to live to see the day that the United States finally adopts universal healthcare, and I will do everything I can to be a part of that change!
