STAY STOKED
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really enjoy the idea of Couchsurfing, a way to meet new people and learn about a city from the eyes of a local. I always love sharing the places I know; the hidden gems and actually decent tourist traps worth falling into, so it's super special when it's my turn to learn too.
Interests
Alternating fiction/non-fiction,
writing every day (a challenge that started when 12 years old, turned into a habit),
taking pictures of things that will never be the same,
sailing/surfing/scuba when it's possible, dreaming when it's not,
playing music-the violin comes everywhere with me
studying a Masters of medical neuroscience
feeling whole after a walk in the woods
paying attention to the moon

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Buying a van and roadtripping the west coast of America, visiting tree giants, exploring geoparks, meeting people of all walks of life, eating too much, living in a commune, working in a vineyard near Yellowstone NP before finishing up the adventure in Burning Man.
Helping my parents set up their dream of an organic lavender farm in the south of France.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a qualified teaching English as a foreign language educator and I worked for the most part of 2015 in Hong Kong in a studio teaching my native tongue and other subjects through performance art. I even managed to squeeze some theatre into my physics lessons for secondary school students. Giving people (from 2years old to 65) another way to learn and express themselves is such an amazing experience and something I love to share.
I am trying to learn languages myself, and welcome tips, corrections, funny idioms etc.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can write you a song, a terrible poem or share my mad pancake skills, drama games, stories and science info.
For me every day is a school day, and the best thing about getting to know new people, is all the information we store in our amazing cranial computers just waiting to be downloaded.
Countries I’ve Lived In
Australia, England, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong
