Music, Movies, and Books

Funny movies are the best, I can listen to anything (except for this new music they call rap), and books, basically anything that can keep my attention throughout the whole book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My most recent moment of "awe" was when I recently took a trip to California and stayed at Yosemite National Park. It was breathtaking how amazing the scenery was. The mountains, waterfalls, trees, everything was so picturesque, words can not describe how real it was. My pictures don't even do justice of the beauty I was really looking at.

Another amazing thing I was fortunate enough to experience was swimming in the Amazon River. Yes I swam with piranhas and Cayman. (and much more I didn't know what in there!) It was just amazing to be able to see all the culture in the rain forest that most people will never have a chance to see. We also slept in hammocks in the middle of the Amazon. Just a hammock with a bug net. Very scary, but still one of the best experiences I've ever had.

Another time was when I went to Hawaii with my family. Because of the 6 hour time difference from New Jersey, once we got there we figured we'd utilize the time difference. We drove 3-4 hours up a volcano and saw the sunrise ABOVE the clouds. It was so beautiful, and freezing! I saw about 30 shooting stars in an hour. But seeing the sunrise on top of a volcano was definitely an experience I will NEVER forget.
