About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet new people, be hospitable.
ABOUT ME
My husband and I have 3 kids. A lot of our lives revolves around soccer, church (Methodists), family and friends. Because almost all of our extended family lives in Tulsa we try to travel a lot. Some of our favorite places we have been are Guatemala (we visit there often, we help host a soccer camp for an elementary school), Brazil (World Cup 2014), Germany (World Cup 2006), and sailing the Caribbean.
My husband is 6'4" and I am 5' 2". I married my 7th grade sweetheart.
PHILOSOPHY
We are strong in our faith (Methodists) but we enjoy hearing about other religions and cultures. We have a diverse group of friends from different backgrounds and faiths.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would like to begin couch surfing by hosting. We have hosted several foreign exchange students.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am not sure what I am getting into but I figure if we have hosted students for a month or even 6 months at a time surely a weekend is very doable.
Our family has lived on a sail boat for a few weeks, multiple times. We recently stayed in a youth hostel. We have been camping.

Music, Movies, and Books
Just finished "Love Does" by Bob Goff. I always enjoy historical fiction, self improvement, healthy recipes. I don't like anything with too many characters especially when there is the CIA, FBI, KGB, police, etc. My husband reads anything though excepts romance novels.
I am not that big of a music person. WhenI work out I definitely like 80s though. I am not opposed to music but I enjoy listening to a book on tape more than the radio. I am pretty much at the mercy of whatever my kids are listening to. Also, my dad only had records of musicals when I was growing up so I am somewhat well versed in musicals.
I love movies, who doesn't? I also really enjoy documentaries. I sort of make my husband watch Downton Abbey, Modern Family with me. If the TV is on though in our house it is either soccer or NBA- especially the OKC THUNDER!

Teach, Learn, Share
I hosted a women's retreat for a weekend about 1 month ago. We had 5 speakers: parenting, marriage, healthy food taste testing/cooking, hormones and finances. I love to share and learn info on any of those topics.
