Live life like it's my last.
28yo, a lover of photography, a child from the Netherlands, vegetarian lover of good healthy food! I can be quiet at first, but soon warm and am openminded to new adventures, people, and experiences. I've been told that I'm "calming" to be around. (These people aren't around at 4am after 7 coffee's and I'm on the computer frantically finishing my essay due tomorrow.)
Life is for the Living. As cliched as it sounds, it's true - you have one life, and you're not here for a long time, you're here for a short time. You have nothing to lose, but a life wasted. Two years ago I hit rock bottom, overseas, heartbroken, out of money, no job to go back to, reading existential books I experiences a kind of epiphany. Now there is no time to waste.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have a passion for photography, which is why I am now studying it at university (and soon on exchange at San Francisco State University!) I love adventuring, music camping festival, food with friends, art, documentaries, and nature to name a few interests.
Music, Movies, and Books
I LOVE documentaries. Nothing is quite as strange or wonderful as reality. My favourite author is the Scott who writes gritty novels such as Trainspotting, Irvine Welsh. My music taste is fluid, at the moment I'm liking tribal electronic music with a beat to dance to.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swapping my point and shoot camera for a hot air balloon ride over the unusual and alien landscape of Cappadocia, Turkey (when I was almost out of money).
Going to Glastonbury Festival as part of the Arcadia Lightning Men crew! --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHUovdA7Uj0
Taking a helicopter ride over a music festival whilst on acid.
Countries I’ve Visited
