ABOUT ME

Hi!
My name is Amy and I live in a spacious apartment five minutes from the beach in the NW of England with my partner Nate and our two cats.
My great passion is music and the arts and I would love to travel the world to meet other musicians and artists. I'm easy to get on with and work from home. I love cooking, eating and drinking and trying to learn the languages of my friends.
In my job I am lucky to meet people of all ages and abilities. I truly believe that music can open our hearts and minds and is a powerful tool not only for self expression but for healing.
I think my friends would regard me as a little eccentric but I am essentially pretty down to earth and open minded. I have a routine and I work mostly from home so it can get a bit busy here with students. I don't mind a bit of spontaneity either, maybe I get tired a bit after work but that's nothing the promise of a beer and good company can't fix.
I haven't travelled a lot at all, in fact I haven't been out of the UK for years due to one thing or another - now is the time for change!
I have two children 16 and 12, they live with their father at the moment but they come and stay sometimes, we're a laid back family and both my kids love music and late nights too.
My partner and I are both smokers but your room will be smoke free. Weekends are for socialising and drinking and we would love for you to meet our friends.

I am a very open minded woman who does not judge people, sometimes I think we will never know someone well enough to judge them. I am very positive and believe that anything is possible with the right attitude, the correct tools and the necessary knowledge. I am passionate about celebrating the little things in life as much as the big things. I love the earth and all animals, vegetables and minerals within it. We are all equal regardless of race, colour, creed or ability. Life IS love.

I am a music tutor and I can teach piano, singing and music theory but I also love crochet (amigurumi), needlework, knitting and photography. My partner is a film composer and writes electronic music. He is always looking for musicians and singers to work on his projects.
We both used to be chefs and can show you how to cook traditional English meals in our kitchen.
I'd like to learn how to cook traditional meals and make local crafts from your area. I'd also like to learn the piano accordian.
