Try to enjoy the journey as much as the destination.
I wanted to be a monkey scientist as a child, I am now an administrative assistant. I like to run around and play and I love to hear belly laughter. I cannot roll my r's.
If I do it today, I won't wonder what would have been tomorrow.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hang out with people that want to meet up, go to some events and I hang out with people in other cities that want to meet up and show me a bit of where they are living.
Just met some awesome people in Palermo that made me think this was a pretty cool thing to do. I have met several people for drinks in Palermo and New York and gone to several events in NY and have used CS in Florence and Rome to meet some wonderful guides.
Obviously, traveling... , dancing around when no one is watching, getting lost, the little things that make me laugh, learning a new thing every day. I like kids and dogs. I like to read and I like to go to the beach. I like to have a good conversation too!
Music, Movies, and Books
Butter Battle and Grapes of Wrath and The Life of the Wallflower and Great Expectations and The Alchemist are all wonderful books.
Music is something I enjoy, but it's like a soundtrack to me. Thus, I like almost anything in the appropriate moment. I also love suggestions.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
How can you just pick one thing! I have to say Kenya is one of the most amazing things I've seen. Just in general, I loved it. The people, the animals, the cities, everything. Mt. Etna was a close second though. Also, being an aupair, I have to admit seeing a newborn and holding him and having him sleep on me is an amazing thing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn absolutely everything! As for teaching, I don't know. I guess it depends on the person! I will teach whatever I can, but the more I grow up the more I realize how little I know, so I really do love to learn more.
