About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Just wanna have fun!

ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly brazilian girl, doing a full PhD in Bioscience Engineering, at KULeuven (Belgium). I'm very easygoing, always positive and love talking, especially drinking a good beer!

I left my parents' home to study at 18 and, from there, I never stopped. I always liked to travel and meet people, and I believe that Couchsurfing is the perfect junction of this.

If I can not host someone who is in my city someday, I would like at least to walk around and show what the place has to offer! Similarly, what I seek is, in addition to venture into the wonderful places, is go deeper into the culture and habits of each place.

PHILOSOPHY

We can always learn from all our experiences and we should laugh at ourselves, don't leave things so heavy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a guest and, if I cannot be a host, as a friendly guide.

Interests

I really love to dance, to travel and meet new people. I love to eat also, though I can not cook a decent meal!
And I really really love football!

Music, Movies, and Books

It's difficult to list just a few, since I love movies, music and books, but here we go:

- Movies: Pulp Fiction; Amores Perros; 21 Grams; Fight Club; Life of Brian; The Godfather...

- Music: very eclectic, going from samba, forró and MPB (Brazilian music), until rock, pop and electronic music.

Books: also very difficult to choose some, I'm always reading something. But some of them that marked me: "Grande Sertão: Veredas"; "The Book Thief"; "Helena"; "The Girl You Left Behind"; "The Kite Runner"...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw the football team I support (Clube Atlético Mineiro, known as Galo Doido!) be champion of Libertadores and I followed it to Marrakesh. Took the opportunity to meet a wonderful city, which I recommend!

I spent New Year's Eve in Paris last year, something so unexpected to me that would be like going to the moon!

Teach, Learn, Share

In Brazil we have the good habit of share and I'm an adept of this custom! I could share my knowledge in biology and science and dance skills (just don't expect some Shakira or Beyonce).

I would like to learn anything you can teach me, especially if you know how to cook and have patience.
