ABOUT ME

My girlfriend and I traveled over 1000 miles from different locations in order to be able to build our dreams together. She moved from Maui and I moved from Dallas to live together in Southern California. We are both hard-working, adventure-seeking, entrepreneurs that want to experience the world; meeting new people and seeing exciting things everywhere we go. In our lives every day is an adventure because we never know what to expect! Life is such a beautiful blessing and we want to make the most of it by not letting any excuses get in the way of our vision.

PHILOSOPHY

Each of us have unique ideas and perceptions. I encourage others to open up and let the imaginations run wild. We each have a dream and most of the time money is not the only missing factor in achieving that dream. I participate by walking the path so that I may journey with others, either as an experienced leader or a curious follower.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I lead a youth mastermind of young entrepreneurs from around the world. By bringing our collective experience together we're able to think of fun and creative ways that we can make a difference and bring out the best in more people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm fairly new to couchsurfing.com but following high school, after a family tragedy, I was homeless for several months and managed to get myself back on my feet by couchsurfing with friends and friends of friends.

Interests

I am passionate about growth and development. Whether it's cultural, scientific, or business-oriented, the process of things changing from one state to another absolutely fascinates me. I am interested in real estate, investments, technology, fashion, and entertainment. My biggest passion is science. I love learning about particle physics and quantum theory.

Music, Movies, and Books

I spend most of my time reading books about personal development and business. I'm currently reading Rockefeller, 48 Laws of Power, Telling Lies, Essays by Ralph Waldo Emerson, and Think and Grow Rich.

I listen to all types of music from rock, hiphop, classical, reggae, and jazz. Recently I have been listening to a lot of trap music and chillstep.

Teach, Learn, Share

Sometimes other cultures try to say that Americans are ignorant and uneducated and unfortunately many times America is kind of the laughing stock of the world. I look at this as a simple part of the process. America is really just an infant on the global scale, we are less than 250 years independent, and haven't been in existence as an organized society for even 500 years.

Other cultures have had several millenia to mature and to build cultural practices. In addition to the time aspect though, America does not have a solid heritage to call it's own. Since it's inception, and even more so as a result of modern technology that allows people t travel, America is a conglomerate of countries from around the world. So if you're speaking to an "American" chances are that if you go just a few years back their heritage comes from some other already matured culture.

This makes it so that American practices are not yet solidified like in other cultures. Anytime there is a common practice that could become an "American" culture, another culture moves in and tweaks it to create something completey new. The entire country is a melting pot!
