I'm a lifetime nerd, sailor, avid traveler, salsa dancer, debater, and book worm! Just finished studying International Relations, Sociology and Political Science, and have mainly worked (and intend to continue working) in the field of human rights and international development. I feel very blessed to be able to work in a field that is aligned with my personal values and beliefs :)
Other than that, my family is the personification of globalization, which could sort of explain why travelling has always been a big part of my life... My mother is from Spain, my father from Cuba, my sister and I were born in Japan, but we spent our teenage years in the Dominican Republic - and I've been travelling/moving ever since, from Switzerland, USA, West Bank, Haiti, India, Nepal, and now living in the UK!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Would love to get to know people in the places I travel - I feel that discovering a place through the eyes of someone who lives there makes the entire experience so much richer and full of life. Getting to meet and know people and sharing experiences with them within their culture, customs, and language is precisely what makes travelling so magical and worthwhile <3
Sailing, travelling and salsa dancing, of course!
