I used to work as a lawyer in Germany, but in my heart I have always been an adventurer and an explorer. So I closed my law firm in 2009 and left Germany. I have since lived in Britain, in Malta, in Lithuania, in Italy and in Romania. Since November 2015, I am traveling around South America. I will return to Europe in May 2017.
Instead of going on vacation twice a year, I rather move to another country for six months. This slow way of travelling gives me the opportunity to really get to know a place, to learn about the culture, the history, the people, the political and social aspects of a country. Due to my curiosity, I regularly get accused of being a spy. In Iran, I spent one week in prison because of that. - Watch my TEDx talk if you want to hear how that worked out: www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkdgFEzm0tU
Now I decided to embark on a never-ending journey around the world and to write about it: www.andreasmoser.blog
If you are looking for me, you will most likely find me in the forest, next to the lake, reading a book and smoking a cigar. Just follow the cigar smoke!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hosting people is like a holiday coming to my house.
