About Me

I don't have a place to accept guests, but I'm interested in trying couch surfing, hence why I joined up on this site. I like to consider myself to be open minded. I have quite a few tattoos which might be off putting to some people (the tattoos themselves are not offensive). I served in the US Navy for 4 years and was able to see some of the world from that which I loved. I studied Japanese for 4 years in High School but currently my skills are a bit rusty but I'm working to improve on that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've stayed at hostels before and enjoyed them and I feel like couchsurfing is on the next level from that. I feel like a trip would be more personal and engaging when you're interacting with a local on a one on one basis.

Interests

I'm passionate about music and I am a vinyl collector. I'm very supportive of local music in my area and an a supporter of the DIY esthetic. As a music lover I enjoy all aspects of music whether it be avant-garde or doom metal and I like to talk in depth about the various elements. I also like anime, drawing, hiking, and going off the beaten path as I feel that is wear you have the best experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all types of music but I prefer hardcore punk, crust, grind, etc. Really big fan of the Alien franchise with Children of Men being my favorite outside that series. Love sci-fi stuff as well. My favorite author is Marcus Zusak with his "The Book Thief" being my top novel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going on a Navy deployment and seeing a corner of the world that I otherwise would not have been able to see.

Teach, Learn, Share

Although I'm younger than some, I've been all over the United States as well as some of the world and I feel that has made me appreciate other cultures and aspects of life that an average person is not able to experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My amazingly funny personality (/sarcasm). Some of the experiences I've had and the cultures I've experienced.

Countries I’ve Visited

Guam, Japan, Philippines, Singapore

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
