About Me

Is anyone even couch surfing now? I had stopped hosting a while ago because my place was a bit too small and then COVID-19 hit and flipped the apple cart over anyway. Now I've recently taken a trip to Mexico, safely, and it got me thinking about this community again and how much I enjoyed meeting my guests. I recently moved into a bigger place and now that the Covid numbers are dropping and the vaccine is available I would consider hosting again.

I am also able to help with local tips, maybe have a meetup if that's all you need.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like travelling and meeting other travellers. I've gotten a lot of tips and inspiration from hosting couchsurfers.

I like many kinds of music but my favorite band for the last 20+ years has been Sublime. The best movie I've seen recently was my Octopus Teacher.
Latest book was The Power of Myth by Joseph Campbell which I hid in Tulum, Mexico for someone else to find.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I attended Expo '86 in Vancouver Canada and met someone very famous.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love pointing visitors to the amazing places they can visit and learn about California while hearing about their own homes and their travels.
