About Me
I am 54, many years ago I studied geology.
I then worked as a support worker for adults with mental health problems and learning disabilities in a variety of roles including physio, speech and language & occupational therapy assistant.
Then I moved to Slovakia and studied medicine.
I worked for a short time in a hospital in Wales.
Now I am in Narvik learning Norwegian, in the hope of working here. I like to read, and listen to music, and enjoy the great outdoors, walking , hiking and X country skiing

Music, Movies, and Books
I am fond of the music of Leonard Cohen , but my tastes vary from classic to rock. Also some folk for example Ewan MacCol and more up to date Johnny Flynn & First aid kit.
Currently trying to read Naiv super in Norwegian. It's going slowly despite the simple language, so I have got a long way to go in learning Norwegian !
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Training one of our clients to do the London marathon.. It was a big achievement for him and a bit nerve wracking for me at the time. But now it stands out to me as some thing worth while.
