Hi, my name is Tamas, Tomi or Andrei and there not really that much to it. I've lived in Budapest since i was this (.) small, ok i might have been bigger, but i didn't really have self-consciousness back then. Fast forward 25 years It seems I'll be moving to Germany next year for a masters is Cognitive psychology while trying to put down roots there.
My current goals are to improve my knowledge of research methodology to be better in spotting bad science and becoming knowledgable in the art of praying mantis kung fu. Recently started listening to Rick Roderick lectures on youtube. What else? It's difficult to appear exciting person along side a day job! I started reading my first book about love recently, so that's new.
I like playing stringed instruments and realised I'm listening to more and more folk, alt-folk music. Mostly listen to Folk Forward and KEXP radio stations. Specifically listening to First Aid Kit and Chelsea Wolfe, Wovenhand. Still keeping with artists like Mastodon and Buckethead from my high school years.
Quote I put from like 8 years ago but I still like it:
"There are philosophers, who, when it rains on sultry days in June, moan about the storm harming the vine. I am not of them. I take pleasure in the rain, for it calms my nerves, freshens the air and eventually, brings joy. I might not live to see tomorrow, and might not drink from the wine, the flower of which embalms the Goldenshore." excerpt of Stendhal's diary
