ABOUT ME

I have chosen Seattle, WA (or has it chosen me...?) to begin my first musical adventure, post college. This is the real deal and I am prepared to live out of the back of my car, stay in hostels, camp and even not sleep if need be to make it happen. I am serious about music, that's all you really need to know.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not as arrogant as I seem. I would like to be well-known but I would rather be well-respected.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have got stories, have been most places in this country. I will play you a song that I wrote and then play your favorite song and if I don't know it, I will go learn it. I don't need you to like me, but I want you to like me. If you give me a chance you probably will. If you don't, there's probably a good reason that I will respect.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have lived most of my adult life (albeit 5 or so years...?) on couches, whether my own, friends, or perfect strangers. Road trips are my friend, thus couches are my friend. I have slept on hard-wood floors, in front of parked cars, on park benches and in music practice rooms. I'm in it for the adventure.

Interesses

Macintosh computers, guitar equipment, singing, Tower of Power, reading good books, watching bad movies, talking to strangers, seeing passionate people do what they love, dropping my iPod, brushing my teeth, wearing clothes, not wearing clothes, different styles, being moved to tears, etc. etc.

Ensine, Aprenda, Compartilhe

I base my life around 12 different notes. That's all there is. 12 of them. What you do with them is up to you -- but I can show you a thing or two about how others have used them. I can show you how I use them. I could show you how to play guitar but your fingers will hurt. I can teach you about jazz but it's hard and I don't really get it. I will let you play my saxophone, but bad sounds will most likely come out. I will let you play my flute, but no sound will probably come out. Nonetheless, these are things that I am willing to do.
