Hello, this is Andrés, but you can call me Andrew (easier to pronounce and remember)

I am a very respectful, clean and honest man who enjoys traveling. I consider myself as a positive and very dedicated and disciplined person.

I often travel with my gf and we have known some interesting cities like Mexico City, Habana, New York, San Francisco, Toronto, Vancouver.
And this time we are heading to Asia, specifically to South Korea and Japan, (we’ll be in LA just for a few days too).

I studied a BA in English Language and I work online as an English teacher, teaching in High School. This job has allowed me to travel a little more since I can work remotely. I usually have just two sessions of an hour during the week and I’m always using my earphones so I don’t make a lot of noise.

Also I like to workout, sports and practice climbing, yeah I do climbing I have been doing it for a few years now but mostly sport climbing. Right now I am a little bit into fitness life so I don’t smoke and very rarely drink, you know, sometimes just some drinks to have fun with friends.

I love photography and I like to take a lot of photos whenever I am traveling these are mostly about architecture or street photography about the city. It is like something I collect but honestly I am also very perfectionist with it haha, I take tons of photos but keep it to myself I often end up uploading just one or two in the socials.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is our first time trying this looking for something different at our stayings like meeting new people, friends, have a nice convo, talk about anything, share thoughts, experiences, etc.

Interests

I like traveling, photography and climbing.

If you are into photography maybe we can hang around the city and make some shots. Any advice will be helpful. We can also go to a gym and try climbing if you feel like it, it’ll be pretty fun I guarantee 100% haha.

My father and I collect coins too so I try to bring home some coins as memorabilia about every place I’ve been.

I also like art, street art, go to museums and see paintings, murals, etc although I don’t paint I see it as something similar to photography. Knowing things about the city I am, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to watch sci-fi, drama and action movies. My favorite one is Back to the future 2 but there are tons of good movies. Good will hunting, The Pianist, The Godfather, etc. I listen mostly pop rock music in English.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don’t think I have done so many things but you know being a teacher is sometimes something hard, but with many rewards in return.

I am also very active and I like to do climbing. Some people like me find it interesting, others scary I may say it is a little bit of both but mostly joyful and gets you aware of your own physical and mental capabilities.

I like all kinds of extreme sports, but unfortunately I haven’t done many :( but we can share stuff about sports if your are into it.

I’d like to try sand-boarding, surfing (I don’t know how to swim haha) skating, etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like knowing about other cultures and languages so I can share that knowledge too. If you are learning Spanish we can practice talking, etc.

We can talk for hours about Mexico and traveling.
