See as much of the world as I can before it changes permanently
Well I like to travel, but that probably isn't very rare for people who use CouchSurfing. I would like to say that my friends think I'm funny, but then again, they could just be laughing at my jokes to make me feel better. Honestly my friends are pretty nice people and they probably would do something like that, but back to the question of who I am. I'm a pretty easy going guy who loves meeting new people. I'm from Ukraine, but I grew up in North Carolina. I play table tennis and soccer. I've worked at a movie theater for 3 years and recently spent a few months scanning papers at an accounting firm. At the moment I am working in San Francisco as a business development intern at a mobile gaming company.
I am interested in learning as much as I can about as many things as I can, not only academically but also just life in general. Travelling has opened my eyes to so many different perspectives and has given me new directions in my life. I believe that everyone has an interesting story to tell, and that the only way to get the most out of life is to go outside and do the things you love.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have stayed with a few people and gone to a couple of couchsurfing meetups while travelling, and my experience has been nothing short of incredible. Everyone has been very friendly and I've even managed to make some lifelong friends.
I have couchsurfed a few times and gone to multiple meetups.
I am also really interested in technology and science, and in terms of sports I like parkour, table tennis, and soccer. I also enjoy photography, as it gives me the opportunity to capture at least some part of my experiences in everlasting packages of bits.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Clerks, Fight Club, Clockwork Orange, any James Bond movie with Sean Connery, The Social Network, Iron Man, Superbad, Pineapple Express, The Dark Knight, Children of Men, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and many many more.
Music: I like to say that I'll listen to any good music that exists regardless of genre, but I used to listen to mostly electronic music, artists such as Daft Punk, Justice, Deadmau5, Ratatat, and Rusko. Recently though I started listening to mostly hip hop from the 90's/early 00's, Nas, Biggie, Tupac, early Jay-Z and early Eminem. I really like words so for me rap is the perfect type of music with its complex rhymes and dense lyrics.
Books: A Farewell to Arms, Freakonomics, Blink, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Catcher in the Rye, Surely You're Joking Mr. Feynman!, Slaughterhouse Five, The Blind Watchmaker
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Saw the mighty power of the Niagara Falls.
Walking along the Great Wall of China and seeing the amount of work that went into it.
Learned to appreciate art in a completely new way at the Alte Pinakothek in Munich.
