I'm studying at a small university in Ohio but spending the semester abroad studying History, Philosophy, and Theology at the foothills of the Austrian Alps.
I support the Pro-Life movement and work and pray for the greater respect of human dignity.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to learn languages and make connections with locals rather than simply visiting new places. I also want to get to know the couchsurfing community to decide whether I would ever want to be a host in the future.
My greatest interest is my Catholic faith and the self-giving lives of the saints such as John Bosco, Gemma Galgani and Joseph Cottolengo.
I'm also interested in graphic design, analog photography, nature and physical sciences: climbing, hiking, chemistry, medicine, whittling, botany, and entomology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I researched and synthesized a promising new series of drugs for tuberculosis at AbbVie laboratories. It wasn't due to my personal skill but to existing research and the skill of the medicinal chemists and biologists around me.
