About Me
CURRENT MISSION
i'm just trying to spend some time in Germany to gain fluency in the language and to experience all the country and its culture has to offer, because i love speaking german
ABOUT ME
i like to meet foreign people of all types! new culture is exciting to me. i love new places. i don't like to do anything ordinary. i like to fly planes without engines, and skipper boats without engines as well. i ride my bike from my hometown, to my college town, and anywhere else. i have a car thats older than me, but not old enough to be a classic :-p
PHILOSOPHY
existentialism makes alot of sense to me. i need to just live for what i love. doing the things i love as well and as often as i can is a means by which i justify my life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
i'd like to host people in the future. currently, i live with my parents when i'm not at college, so it would have to be agreeable with them too.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
i have unoffically couchsurfed in texas. i stayed with a family while i worked at a sailplane race.
Interests
books. planes. sailboats. language. riding bicycles. movies. collecting vinyl records. learning abstract facts, like who valkyrie is, just for the sake of knowing random facts. listening to music. playing music. TRAVELLING (why else would i be here?)

Music, Movies, and Books
music: joseph arthur, elton john, journey, seals and crofts, simon and garfunkel, bob dylan, neil young, anything i can find on vinyl, i'll listen to.
Movies: any movie i think is creative is something i like, it can be funny, or scary, or suspensful, even historical.
i like sci-fi books, and memiors.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
flown a plane by myself for the first time when i was 15.
Teach, Learn, Share
see above. i don't want stereotypes to stand in the way of us understanding each other. i want to learn about other countries customs, and i like teaching foreigners english slang, like saying wanna, instead of want to, so they sound more natural.
