My name is Ane. Nearly 24 years old, and then I am from Denmark.
I'm about to move to Bern, Switzerland to start my studies at the Kaospilot school in Bern. (looking very much forward!)

Earlier on, I have been studying to become a chef (made it half way through), and I love to cook. For the last few years I have been working in restaurants and in a kindergarten.

I am very interested in politics, and in general whats going on i the world everyday.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Currently I'm on couchsurfing to have a place (places) to stay the first few weeks when I arrive to Bern.
I think it will be a good way to meet people in a new city!

Interests

I like to travel to new places, meet new people and cultures different from what I am use to.
I enjoy being outside, bike around town, walk an evening-walk. I am a social person who likes to hang out with my friends and enjoy a beer or some tea at a local bar/café or in a park.

I like to cook (asian food is my favorite), I like to learn how to cook new local dishes. And then I really like cheese as well.

Photography

I used to do a lot of sports, but haven't done any in a long time. - I'm up for a run, yoga or some football in the park if someone ask me to join. The last many many years I have been dancing and drumming in two different east-african dance groups, so if anyone knows about a place in Bern - please bring me along :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like russian literature!

Doesn't watch that many movies, but I like movie nights with my friends once in a while.

I listen to music a lot! all kinds - from jazz and classical music. I enjoy hip hop, folk, world music (tanzanian music), traditional sukuma songs, electronic music, crappy pop, new scandinavian music - and so much more!
