ABOUT ME

I have been a 9-1-1 Operator/Police Dispatcher for almost 15 years. There is not much I haven't heard! I also do Critical Incident Stress Management - run debriefings & do stress management education & training.

I am passionate about photography & interior design and do both on the side for fun. I LOVE roller derby & have been playing it competitively for 3 years. On the track, I am Nyna Vaughn Von (9-1-1). Occasionally I chase tornadoes across Canada & the US and am a guest on a weekly talk radio show called 'Storm Clowns'.

I believe in the here and now....time is not guaranteed, so if you wait, you will never know what opportunities you have missed. I focus on being grateful and aware of all the amazing things abundant in my life....and not sweat too much about what might be missing!

Música, películas y libros

Love all sorts of movies except sci-fi/fantasy (c'mon...sparkly vampires?) :) Movies are a weekly thing...sometimes just for the buttery popcorn!

When at home ALWAYS have tunes on. Have an eclectic taste in music....everything except rap/hip hop. Love Norah Jones, Ben Howard, Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, Pink...

Books I gravitate towards are mostly about healthy living/self awareness...have about 7 different ones on the go all the time.

AND I've seen the fury of Mother Nature & been able to photograph a tornado!
