Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing because I have always strived for the ideal american life, career, house, cars, etc...but having recently lost all of my material objects, and a hard breakup, I have realized that there is so much more to life than materialistic objects, or being unhappy in any relationship. So I am in search of finding myself as well as getting back in touch with nature, and branching out of my comfort zone. I have never traveled alone, and figured Hawaii is the perfect place for me to find myself, as well as others who have been where I am, or can share stories, and knowledge that can better me as a person. Needing to find who I am again.

Listen to all different types of music, rap, rock, oldies, country, etc...I love any book. There's no such thing as to much knowledge and I feel books are a very good way to gain information. And I am a movie junkie. I worked at Hollywood video for 5yrs, so I've seen quite a few movies, but due to adult life lately, haven't been able to sit down and watch a movie in forever...
