Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of meeting ppl and to show them my city/country and have them showing me their. The world can only get better with more love and understanding :)

I mostly host people visiting Umeå and organize events, I've had fun games evenings and potluck parties at my place :) I'm also surfing a bit myself when I can but my trips tend to be really nonplanned so that I can't tell anyone where I'll be which is not too nice for a host so then I'll go to hostels and meet ppl there instead :)

Interests

I travel as much as I can afford and have time for, I love to see new places and to meet people on the way! I'm also doing a lot of things in my spare time, I think a lot of things are fun, mostly to meet ppl, over a coffee, a walk, or anything, I'm organizing a meetup-group with meetings almost every week, and as said before, I like a lot of things, reading, personal development, cooking, photography, technology, diving, surfing, music, movies, dancing, shopping, knitting, sewing. Wish I had more time in a day :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited 45 states (20%)!

I've done a lot of things during my trips so it's hard to choose what's been most amazing but I guess that I can mention some things that I can think of. I've been diving with sharks 36 metres below the water surface in Thailand, sleeping under the stars in the middle of the AUS, watching stars in the desert in Egypt, experiencing the nature without an experienced guide in Kruger national park and realizing how vulnerable we are, watching the sunset ontop of a sleeping vulcano on Hawaii, bathing in natural hot springs on Iceland and in Japan, hiking a few hours along the Chineese wall, and I've been eating so much tasteful food and meeting so many cool nice ppl from all over the world :)
