About Me

Hey!

I'm Anita - aka Neety.
I grew up in Hungary but moved to Australia when I was nine. I've lived in Melbourne, the Sunshine Coast and have lived in Sydney for the past 18 years.

I get super excited about many things: geology, ice cream, nature, bunny rabbits, abandoned mansions, the universe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm just about to book my first trip to the States (I somehow always end up in Europe every time I plan a trip, because I have family there). But this time, nope, I'm finally giving the USA a go.

I thought it would be fun to couchsurf because I'm pretty awesome - haha - and it would be fun to meet other awesome people. Also, hotels are boring and lifeless and there's never cheese in the mini bar.

Interests

My rabbit Stanley. He. Is. The. Best.
Watching entire TV series and not moving off the couch for five hours at a time (Mad Men, Dexter, True Blood, House of Cards, Broad City, Transparent, Six Feet Under, The Wire, etc) and then realising that I eventually think that the characters are my actual family and I miss them terribly when I get to the last season.
Alan Watts.
The universe, space travel, philosophy, the meaning of life.
Mushroom soup.
Cake.
