Hello, it’s very nice to meet you. My name is WeiFan, which literally means “a moderate rose” in Mandarin. This name was my parents’ blessing for me. They hoped I could grow up healthily, happy and content with who i am’, and that’s me, a happy, healthy and curious Chinese girl who is exploring the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I traveled, the time I spent with local people was always the most memorial moment. I have received many people's hospitalities and would like to pass on these good will to those in need.

I like history, my preference about books and movies would be those based on the history; ex: Oliver Twist; A Woman of Angkor.

Generally speaking, I like gentle music. I have Rock, Folk, Acoustic, Classic, Reggae in my MP3. The musicians that I listen to more recently are Bob Dylan and Adele.
One thing for sure is I don't like heavy metal and electronic music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Experienced a month of wonderful primitive lifestyle at a remote and isolated beach between Daintree National Park and Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

Made a rabbit curry with a fresh road-killed rabbi and an omelette with pigeon eggs found in a cave.
