Hi, I am Anna (24) and I am originally from Germany. I studied in Spain and at the moment I am enjoying life in Japan. I love traveling and meeting new people so if you share this passion, you are more than welcome :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Who can bring you closer to the real soul of a city than a local? Right, nobody. As much as I am into the cultural heritage and monuments worth visiting in every city I travel to, I still want to get to know the place apart from the tourist hotspots. I had the best view on Marrakech when traveling around the whole day with a taxi driver who spontaneously turned into our tourguide and here in Spain it is the same. Couchsurfing might give you the closest insight into how the people at your destination really are + you can make friends all over the world. Who would not want that? :)
Of course, traveling. Meeting new people and cultures, getting to know the world. Capture this in photos and share these experiences.
But also sports (working out and watching it ;) ), cooking and reading.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy every kind of good music, but what I prefer most is some good old classic rock or singer / songwriter tunes. Also before but even more since I saw them live in Berlin two years ago, Mumford & Sons are my number 1 band to listen to.
I wish I was able to read more, like I used to when I was younger. This year, I set myself a reading goal of 100 books throughout the whole year... I wonder how that turns out xD. I enjoy classic literature and historic fiction as well as modern reads like the millennium trilogy or psycho thrillers. My top reads are still travel guides though. I also try to read as much as possible in languages other than my native one! Also, I read a lot about photography and of course, traveling.
Best movie ever is the Godfather and the old Tarantino's , no more words needed here ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, does leaving my home country to study abroad twice counts here?
Teach, Learn, Share
All the things that come to everyone of us everyday :) I want to to soak up all the world can give to me and that includes every piece of culture, language, music, habits, food, dreams, experiences and recommendations I can get. So, if you'd like to share your story with me, I will be sharing mine with you!
