About Me

ABOUT ME

Till a certain moment in my life I had been thinking that I prefer books than people ;) But now things are different and I enjoy every moment which I spend with people in different places, travel a bit :) It's a real joy of my life.

One of the most important thing in my life was my Erasmus year in Genoa (Italy). So many new experiences in one year, wow, I would recommend it for everyone! Especially if don't speak the language at the beginning.

I consider myself to be:

theorist of the life,
master of acceptance,
seeker of inspiration.

PHILOSOPHY

If you can't change something, just enjoy it.

Less is more.

The most important thing in my life is always be true. Cheating other people and primarily yourself only make you unhappy.

"Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it."
Charles R.Swindoll

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very good. Different countries in Europe. Since August 2018 i've been living my amazing adventure in Turkey.

Interests

My studies,
books,
italian language and culture,
people,
travel,
hitch-hiking,
drinking wine outside, talking and laughing all the night :)
and the opportunities which I have from life.

Beside that I like the feeling that I don't know when I will spend next night (like during hitch-hiking), this feeling to be totally uncertain gives me freedom :)

Music, Movies, and Books

In my childhood I was reading a lot of fantasy books, now I prefer classics.

My favourite ones: "The picture of Dorian Gray" Oscar Wilde,
"Lord of the Rings" J.R.R. Tolkien,
"Possession" A.S. Byatt,
"Catch 22" J.Heller,
"Slaughterhouse-Five" K.Vonegut,
'Gattapardo' G. Tomasi di Lampedusa.

And Polish literature, of course, which is very good and it's such a pitty, that it isn't very popular in the world.

I like many movies, especially those which make me unsure, suprise or just make me laughing. Usually when somebady ask me about my favourite one I say: "Fight club" and "Adam's Apples"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch-hiking from north of Poland to Bosnia with 5 € in my pocket :)
(Our journey finally ended in Padua in Italy, just because when you hitch-hiking you can never be sure where you travel will end)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can ofer you, as my host, some polish cuisine - "kotlet schabowy" if you like meat and "placki ziemniaczane" if you're a vegetarian :) Or something totaly different. Anyway, I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun during cooking togheter :)

I can teach you some polish frases (more than "kurwa", we all around the world know that one ;P), tell you something about Polish culture which you probably don't know. And I will be very happy if we will just talk and sharing our experiences :)
