ABOUT ME

I’m an artist and art educator with extensive experience teaching in international schools. I’ve lived and worked overseas, which has enriched my perspective and deepened my appreciation for different cultures and artistic traditions.
I also run a YouTube channel aiming to introduce Ukrainian art and artists to a wide audience.
Curious by nature and passionate about learning, I enjoy connecting with people, exchanging experiences, and exploring the world whenever I can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host when my schedule allows and enjoy helping travelers feel welcome in Kyiv. I like sharing local tips, having a meal or a conversation, and occasionally showing guests around if I have time. I also enjoy being a guest myself when traveling — not just for a place to stay, but for the experience of meeting open-minded people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My hosting experience was quite brief — I hosted two guests before starting a new job overseas, which took me away from my home city for several years. During that time, I lived and worked abroad, gaining valuable life experiences.
I eventually returned to Kyiv for a two-year stay while renovating my apartment, then continued working overseas until January 2022. Since then, I’ve been back in Kyiv, firstly helping volunteers, then starting my YouTube channel, then I returned to teaching art at an international school.
I remain curious about the world and enjoy connecting with people from different backgrounds. I'm always happy to exchange stories, ideas, and inspiration whenever the opportunity arises.

Interests

I’m really into art, education, and travel — and I love when those things come together. Visiting art museums, hiking in nature (especially in the mountains!), and discovering new places are some of my favorite ways to spend time. I also enjoy making YouTube videos where I share creative ideas and stories. Reading, writing, and meeting new people keep me inspired and open to new perspectives.

I’m a teacher and art educator with a strong passion for sharing knowledge and supporting others in their learning journey. I enjoy helping those who are curious, creative, or simply looking for guidance.
Art is at the heart of what I do — not just as a subject, but as a way of thinking, feeling, and connecting. I believe in promoting its value and importance in education and everyday life.
I also run a YouTube channel dedicated to art and artists. Through this platform, I share video tutorials and interviews, and over time I’ve developed skills in engaging with artists, asking meaningful questions, and delivering their stories to inspire others.
