About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a 21 year old student, currently studying Studio Art and French in Colorado Springs, CO. I love meeting new people, preferably over a home cooked meal and a bottle of wine, but on a train, at concert or in a bar will always do as well.
Interests
I love the arts, pretty much anything to do with art I am fascinated with. I love going to museums, discovering new mediums, working with my hands at any sort of craft, I love it all. I have always taught myself how to do things, cook, draw, knit, ski...I've always taught myself, with the help of books and the internet of course.
I also love food. I love to cook, I love finding new restaurants, I always love to taste the cuisine of whatever region I'm in. I think one the best ways to explore a new area is through food, you always learn so much, and find people who are passionate through good food and drink.
I also love music (I say this as if people don't? Doesn't everyone?) I love talking about music, sharing music, learning about new bands or groups always makes me so excited. I also love seeing live music as much as possible, I think the best way to discover new bands is to hear them live first! Unfortunately I have never had the patience to learn an instrument...
Finally I love travel! Obviously why else would I be on couchsurfing...If I can't at least get out of whatever city I'm in every three weeks I go insane! From a young age I've traveled a lot, and I love traveling to new places and meeting new people there. The best way to see a new city is with a local and that's why I think couchsurfing is an awesome community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing to (nearly, I almost passed out) the top of Mt. Princeton, just outside of Buena Vista, Colorado. It was an out of body experience. Looking down from above the clouds. Dizzying, but amazing.
Watching a baby being born.
Tasting a salty honey tarte at this little restaurant in Paris. I don't think I've ever tasted anything that delicious.
