ABOUT ME

I`m current taking a year off before going to university- I`m traveling in Japan at the moment, which is something I`ve wanted to do for years. I`m also planning to travel to Canada and the West coast of the US and spend some time in northern Europe before I return to the UK. This is only a rough plan though, as I sometimes change my mind about where I want to go. I`m treating this year as an adventure, and trying to make the most of having the freedom to go where ever I want when ever I want. One of my favorite parts of traveling is the opportunity to discover a place through the people who live there, and how different people live their lives, which is why I joined couchsurfers.

Art- all kinds of art and yes, I love creating art myself; anime and manga, music (classical and heavy metal are my favorite genres), cooking (mostly desserts), writing, learning random stuff about anything and everything, languages, making up silly drinking games, swimming, martial arts, traveling, video games, philosophy, theatre

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nagasaki's lantern festival (this year in February), Visiting the Grand Canyon about 5 or 6 years ago, touring the islands around Greece by yacht 2 years ago.
Traveling around Japan for 3 months on my own.

Teach, Learn, Share

um...does drawing/painting count as a skill I can share? I'm also willing to share any cooking recipes I can remember. As for what I want to learn, well...what can you teach me?
