About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Vintage lover. Part time traveler. Full time dreamer and life long learner.

ABOUT ME

Howdy,

I am a life long learner, try always to be an educator and always open myself up to new and enriching experiences and relationships.

This year, I have spent the past 5 months in NYC and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Personal growth is the most amazing and empowering thing that a human being can ever ask for!!

I will soon be launching my online vintage clothing store that will focus very much on giving back to an array of communities and organisations worldwide. I am passionate about community, social change and working with youth.

PHILOSOPHY

I have a few quotes that are relevant to me and my life:

'All children are born artists, the problem is to remain an artist as we grow up', (Picasso)

‘I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality’ (Dr Martin Luther King Jnr)

'I paint the way some people write their biography. The paintings, finished or not, are the pages from my diary' (Picasso)

“Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others” (Nelson Mandela)

Aside from that - the power of travel is incredible. I endeavour to always push myself beyond my comfort zone and be open to new ideas and challenges.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have recently travelled to Guatemala and have met some amazing children through an educational support program called 'Safe Passage'. The moments with those children left my awestruck. They were so incredibly kind and welcoming and I have a lot of respect for the amazing volunteers that work with them. It was incredible to see so many people being empowered through education.

Teach, Learn, Share

What an awesome idea - I love it!

Well - I can share my views on community involvement and how easily we can all make a difference to people who need it. Through the business that I am in the process of launching, I am emphasising the importance of sustainability. I am selling vintage clothing and supporting organisations all over the world through my sales. I am so very inspired by the people that I meet that are traveling and doing amazing things in this world. It inspires me to work even harder!!
